Knife in the Water

Scotty G. lent me his copy of Knife in the Water. I watched it in two sittings last week. It gave me some good ideas about my golf script. Make a mental note to get some other films that feature golf, Diary. I'm pretty sure they're as boring as watching the sport on TV. To avoid that, I think the trick with this script might be to shoot it 100% P.O.V. like Welles was going to do for Heart of Darkness. That reminds me, Conrad should be a good touchstone for this story. I wonder if he played golf. Stands to reason given his obsession with futility. Well, Diary, today you're reading like a to-do list for an armchair screenwriter. It's a fair assesment, but I prefer to think of myself as a weekend duffer on the keyboard.
