Constance hosted her first dinner at the house last night. Not that it was a test, but judging by the look on Terry Stamp's face after the fish course, she passed with flying colors. To Manolo's credit, he gracefully took a supporting role. Terry talked a lot about a picture he's trying to put together with Bill Pullman about that silent movie theater on Fairfax. Sounds like a blast. I'd be willing to drive the truck on a picture with him, but I didn't hear him drop any hints about my involvement. Oh well. He certainly charmed Constance with that accent and queer Brit terminology. If it weren't for his new bride, I would have been more suspicious about his invitation to spend New Year's with him in the Swiss Alps. I have already packed my mittens.
