Slidestep

Well it took only one review from Manolo to make up my mind, the golf script is now officially a writing sample. He said everything was satisfactory; pacing, characterization, dialogue, on down the list, but ultimately he asked, "Does anyone care that much about golf?" I can't argue. It seems as though it is a sport that simply cannot be captured on film, although Dead Solid Perfect has its moments. Perhaps the underground scene of Jai Lai would be a better choice. Would I be a hack if I lifted my script and placed it there? I will make some phone calls this afternoon and dig around. In other news, I am training for the marathon 2006. Manolo is on board as well, however, he is more concerned about the pagentry, isn't he always. Pass on the right Diary.
