Framed

The new Mark Tansey finally arrived from the framer. My accountant delivered it with a coterie of movers. They way they slowly carried it into the foyer it looked like a swords and sandles picture from the 50's. Usually when that happens, it's in the bathroom. Anyway, they drilled the walls of the gray room to get the thing hanged. Or is it hung? The painting is of a young woman painting a car crash. Don't bother to ask what the painting means, for me the gray colors match the walls well and that was enough to raise my paddle. I was poking through some of the websites Manolo visits on the kitchen computer and my eyes fell upon the phrase "After 44 years in the rod business I want to stick to my old tried and true way of doing business by describing the product simply and truthfully." This is my new mantra. I'll try to cite it as often as people will allow, Diary. Tight lines.
