Not Nick Nolte's Diary, Malibu, California

Soda Cracker

The pool is now officially open, and the party is beginning to die down. I got away from everything by saying I needed to grab the backgammon set, which is true but an excuse nonetheless. Constance looks likes royalty today. The color tourquoise was made for her. Manolo's band has been terrific, they are actually still playing. But I think they are getting annoyed by Scotty's requests. He put a five dollar bill in Manolo's saxaphone and shouted, "Smoke on the Water!" First off that is not the first or last time Manolo has had money thrown at him, and second their jazz rendition of Deep Purple's top ten hit was transcendant. That guy on the tuba is the crown jewel of the band. Don't tell Manolo. Double stamp it Diary. Gotta run.
