Confluence

I got the photography bug over the weekend but kept things fresh by using only a pinhole camera. The pictures can take up to twenty minutes to expose. I had Manolo pose for some seated portraits, including one that ended up quite accidentally having a El Greco quality. I don't have the patience, motor control or night vision to do well in the dark room, so I leave that to Manolo, who I think enjoys having an excuse to wear a rubber smock and gloves. I think I got a picture of Tito resting in his cage that might serve as next year's Chirstmas Card. It doesn't have a strong winter theme, but that can be compensated for with the right frame. Constance and I will be visiting her parents in Pittsburgh next week. Add a "gulp" sound effect here, Diary. The Steel city has many charms. What it lacks is a museum of natural history. Do you think I could write a travel book for the discerning globetrotter? Me too.
